Dropped IOL Retrieval & Sulcus IOL Implantation.

A dropped intraocular lens (IOL) into the vitreous cavity is a challenging complication that requires careful vitreoretinal management to prevent further retinal or macular injury.

In this case, the dropped IOL was safely retrieved from the posterior segment, followed by appropriate management of the vitreous and implantation of a 3-piece/multi-piece IOL in the ciliary sulcus, when adequate capsular support was available.
