• Describe principles of immunology, including autoimmunity and pathologic responses of the anterior segment.
•   Mastering of diagnosis of anterior segment diseases by SLB 
• Keratopathy both infections and noninfectious etiologies. 
• Acute and chronic infective Keratitis (including bacterial, viral and fungal)..
•  Non infectious inflammatory diseases of the cornea. 
• Corneal ectasia.
•  Infective keratitis and TASS 
• Management of corneal perforation 
• Management of corneal oedema 
• Diagnosis and management of corneal degeneration and dystrophy 
• Be able to appropriately perform laser procedures of refractive surgery and capsulotomy.

 Phaco Module 

•  Peribulbar block Double prick (Bupi + Ligno) (3+3) Lower 4ml upper 2ml. 
• 5% Povisep wash. 
• Draping with eye sheet & plastic drape. 
• 5% Povisep in conjuntival sac 2min then wash (Avoid cornea). 
• Temporal approach. 
• Side port incision with 15o Knife & Stab incision at corneal part of limbus. 
•  Air with 3cc syringe & 27g cannula. 
• Trypan blue dye under air with 3cc syringe & 27g cannula thoroughly to stain all part of the anterior capsule (30sec). 
• Wash thoroughly with 5cc syringe & 27g cannula then A/C formation by OVD.
•  Main port incision by 2.4/2.8 knife, Tri planer fashion, length 1.75mm. 
• Capsular Rhexis with cystitome 26g needle attached with syringe gel in clock wise mode. 
•  Hydro procedure: Multiple procedure (Three site) and lens tap opposite in every procedure. 
•  Rotation of the nucleus by sinisky hook. 
• Sculpting: For quadrant. 
• Nucleus remove: By phaco 2: phaco 3 
• I/A by Co-axial I/A hand place. 
• IOL Implantation. 
•  Remove OVD. 
• A/C Formation. 
•  Sub conjunctival injection of steroid and antibiotic
